Filter by capacity (500 GB+, 1 TB+, 2 TB+, 4 TB+, 8 TB+), interface (NVMe or SATA) or PCIe generation (3.0+, 4.0+, 5.0). NVMe over PCIe 4.0 covers 95% of gaming use cases; PCIe 5.0 is worth the premium for creators moving large sequential files. SATA still makes sense for secondary storage, older motherboards without M.2 slots, and high-capacity 4 / 8 TB deployments where cost per GB matters more than throughput.
Germany and the Netherlands sell the cheapest SSDs roughly 91.7% of scrape cycles — usually Alternate.de, Notebooksbilliger and Megekko. Cross-border shipping runs €10-20 and EU consumer law gives you the same 2-year warranty rights whether you buy locally or across the border. On high-capacity 2 TB / 4 TB drives the cross-border saving is often €40-80 — importing is nearly always the right call.
