1. Service Description

PriceSquirrel is an automated price tracking service for the European PC-hardware market. It scrapes publicly listed prices for consumer GPUs (gaming graphics cards), CPUs, DDR5 memory kits, SSDs and workstation / professional GPUs (e.g. NVIDIA RTX PRO, Radeon Pro) from third-party retailer websites, and presents them alongside algorithmic buy / wait verdicts based on historical price data.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern use of the consumer site at pricesquirrel.com (and its locale variants such as /de/ and /fr/). They do not cover any separate business-facing product operated under pro.pricesquirrel.com; access to that product, if you have it, is governed by its own terms provided at B2B onboarding. Where a separate B2B Terms of Service document does not yet exist, terms will be provided in writing at the point of onboarding.

3. Price Data Accuracy

Prices displayed on PriceSquirrel are sourced from third-party retailer websites and are updated approximately every 6 hours. We make no guarantee that the prices shown are accurate, current, or available at the time you visit a retailer's site.

Always verify the current price directly on the retailer's website before making a purchase. PriceSquirrel is not responsible for discrepancies between displayed prices and actual prices at checkout.

Prices are shown in EUR. They do not account for shipping costs, VAT differences between EU countries, or any additional fees applied at checkout.

4. Buy/Wait Verdicts — Not Financial Advice

The Buy, Wait, and Neutral verdicts displayed on this site are generated algorithmically based on historical price data. They reflect how the current price compares to recent price history. They are informational only and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or a guarantee of future price movements.

PC-hardware prices are influenced by many factors outside our tracking data — supply constraints, currency fluctuations, retailer promotions, and market events. Past price trends do not guarantee future price direction.

Purchasing decisions are made entirely at your own discretion and risk. PriceSquirrel is not liable for any financial loss resulting from decisions made based on information displayed on this site.

5. Price Notifications

Notification emails are sent on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee delivery, timing, or continued availability of the notification feature. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any notification email.

6. Service Availability

PriceSquirrel is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

7. Third-Party Services & Affiliate Links

Links to third-party services — including retailer websites (Alternate, LDLC, Notebooksbilliger, Coolblue, Megekko, Proshop, Webhallen, Morele and others) and cloud-gaming / cloud-compute providers (e.g. RunPod, Boosteroid) — are provided for convenience. PriceSquirrel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any of these third-party services. Your relationship with any such service is governed by that service's own terms and conditions.

Where cloud-gaming or cloud-compute suggestions appear alongside a product page, they are contextual suggestions only — not endorsements. PriceSquirrel makes no representation about the quality, pricing, uptime, or terms of any third-party cloud service, and is not responsible for the outcome of any subscription or usage decision you make based on those suggestions.

8. Amazon Listings — Excluded from Price History & Alerts

Where Amazon appears on the site, it appears as an outbound “Check price on Amazon” link only. Amazon listings are deliberately excluded from our price-history charts, price-alert eligibility, and any Buy/Wait verdict computation. This is required by the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement, which prohibits participating sites from displaying Amazon price history or issuing price-drop notifications for Amazon listings. The on-page disclosure that appears next to every Amazon link and price chart states the same.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not use PriceSquirrel for any of the following:

• Automated scraping or bulk extraction of price data without prior written consent
• Commercial resale or redistribution of data displayed on this site
• Any use that violates applicable EU or Finnish law

10. Intellectual Property

Price data displayed on this site is sourced from publicly available retailer listings. The PriceSquirrel interface, branding, and verdict engine are the property of the operator. Scraping or automated access to PriceSquirrel is not permitted without prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from use of this service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last revised. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
