Pick any tracked PC-hardware product and any EU country. The tool divides the live PriceSquirrel price by that country's statutory hourly minimum wage (Eurostat, 2026 H1) to show how many hours of minimum-wage work the product costs.

How this is calculated
For each supported EU country, we take the cheapest fresh in-stock price from a retailer that ships to that country (the same eligibility rules as our regular product-page price tables). We divide by an hourly minimum-wage rate derived as monthly minimum wage ÷ 173.33 (40 hours per week × 52 ÷ 12 months), matching Eurostat's standard full-time conversion.
Six EU-27 countries (Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Sweden) have no statutory minimum wage — wages are set by collective bargaining sector by sector. Those countries appear in the ranking with their live product price but no hours figure.
UK and US are included as reference wages (UK National Living Wage £12.71/hr, US federal $7.25/hr, California $16.50/hr) but PriceSquirrel doesn't track UK or US retailers — those rows use the cheapest tracked EU price and are labelled accordingly. Treat them as cross-country wage comparisons, not local buying guides.
